Is there any advantage to using a Six-Pak versus a typical backboard?

The Six-Pak offers the Rescuer a more efficient way to maneuver the patient without incurring back strain. It helps assist the Rescuer in extremely tight areas were a standard backboard rescue may become very difficult to maneuver.

The Six-Pak helps decrease the risk of dropping the patient causing injury to both the patient and/or rescuer.
